Deye BOS-A – 76.80 kWh high-voltage battery storage for commercial and industrial use

Description

Product information

The Deye BOS-A System in the 76.8 kWh configuration is a powerful, modular high-voltage storage solution developed specifically for the requirements of commercial enterprises, industrial facilities and large PV projects. Based on the robust BOS-A battery module (7.68 kWh per unit), this system provides a strong energy reserve for emergency power supply and optimisation of self-consumption from renewable energy sources.

By using the safe lithium iron phosphate technology (LiFePO4) and an intelligent, cloud-based management system, the storage system guarantees maximum reliability and efficiency. The system is optimised for installation in rack environments and enables quick installation and uncomplicated maintenance in a professional environment.

Key features at a glance

  • High capacity: With 76.8 kWh (realised by 10 modules in series), the system offers strong reserves for commercial applications, emergency power solutions and peak shaving.
  • Safe LiFePO4 chemistry: The cobalt-free cell chemistry ensures maximum thermal stability and an extremely long service life of over 6000 cycles.
  • Intelligent cloud management: Real-time monitoring of energy consumption and battery status via the Deye Cloud platform to optimise operating costs.
  • High-voltage efficiency: Series connection of the modules provides high system voltage, which minimises conversion losses and increases efficiency to over 90%.
  • Effortless installation: The embedded design and a module weight of approx. 70 kg allow for a structured setup in standard rack systems.
  • Robust industrial design: High IP rating and resistance to a wide range of environmental conditions for long-term use in equipment rooms.
  • Comprehensive warranty: 10-year manufacturer's warranty and a full replacement guarantee for up to 6000 cycles offer long-term investment security.

Areas of application

The 76.8 kWh version of the BOS-A is the ideal solution for demanding projects in commercial and industrial environments:

  • Industrial & commercial enterprises
    • Ensuring an uninterruptible power supply (UPS) for critical machinery and reducing costly peak loads.
  • Larger photovoltaic systems
    • Efficient intermediate storage of solar power to maximise the self-sufficiency rate in office buildings, agricultural businesses or production sites.
  • Neighbourhood storage
    • Centralised storage solution for residential complexes or municipal energy projects for shared use of solar power.

Installation & safety instructions

  • Rack configuration
    • The system achieves its capacity through the series connection of 10 battery modules per rack. Make sure the modules are properly mechanically fastened in the control cabinet.
  • Safety management
    • The integrated Smart-BMS protects each module individually from overcharging, deep discharge and short circuit. Communication takes place seamlessly via CAN 2.0.
  • Structure & weight
    • A fully equipped 76.8 kWh rack weighs approx. 700–800 kg. Make sure the foundation at the installation site is dimensioned for these loads.

FAQs on the Deye BOS-A 76.8 kWh storage system

Can the 76.8 kWh system be further expanded?

Yes. Multiple racks can be connected in parallel to achieve significantly larger total capacities for commercial or industrial applications. The modular design allows the system to be precisely adapted to the growing energy demand.

How does the emergency power supply work at this size?

Automatic and powerful. In combination with a suitable Deye high-voltage inverter, the system can switch to battery operation within milliseconds in the event of a power failure and continue to reliably supply critical loads.

Why is the BMS so important in this system?

For balance and safety. In a series connection of 10 modules, the BMS ensures that all cells are charged and discharged evenly. This prevents individual modules from ageing prematurely and maximises the usable energy of the entire storage block.

Is the system high-maintenance?

No. Thanks to the fanless design of the battery modules and robust LiFePO4 technology, the system is virtually maintenance-free. Remote monitoring via the cloud also makes it possible to detect irregularities at an early stage before they become a problem.
