Can the 112.5 kWh capacity be expanded at a later date?
- Yes. The system has a modular design. To increase the total capacity, several of these cabinet units can be connected in parallel, enabling storage capacities in the megawatt range to be achieved.
Is the master control unit (BMS) already integrated into the cabinet?
- Yes. The system is supplied as a turnkey cabinet solution, in which both the individual battery modules and the central cluster control unit (high-voltage BMS) are integrated into the rack, ready for operation.
What advantages does LiFePO4 technology offer in industrial applications?
- Maximum safety and durability. Unlike conventional lithium-ion batteries, lithium iron phosphate cells are extremely thermally stable, non-flammable and offer a significantly higher number of charge cycles, even under heavy use.
Does the system support control via an external energy management system (EMS)?
- Yes. Via the integrated communication interfaces, the storage system can be seamlessly connected to higher-level commercial energy management systems (EMS) to implement complex charging and discharging strategies.
